What about NG-BE 2021 & COVID-19?

In 2020, we had to cancel our fifth edition because of reasons we don’t need to explain anymore.

In a way, we were lucky, because we didn’t make any major commitments to any of our partners and sponsors yet.

But we were also deeply sad, because the yearly get-together with the Belgian Angular community could not happen.

NG-BE Live

We didn’t want to do nothing, so we started organizing an online alternative, NG-BE Live, to keep serving the community.

And with great success, because on October 19, 2021, the 6th episode is being broadcasted, the last episode for 2021 as we are getting closer to our in-person conference again in December. 🎉

Each episode so far has featured some of the most prominent and active contributors in our Angular community, so a huge thank you to all the speakers and panelist for helping make NG-BE Live happen! 🙏

NG-BE 5th anniversary edition

In 2021, we are thrilled to have our 5th edition of NG-BE, on-site and in-person!

NG- BE is about people. Therefore, our primary mission is to bring an event that allows Angular community members to connect in person in a safe and cozy environment.

Content-wise, NG-BE 2021’s focus is on advanced topics around Angular and its ecosystem. There are talks and workshops on Angular, TypeScript, Nx Workspaces, Module Federation, Webpack, WebAssembly and much more.

Tickets can be purchased on the NG-BE website.

COVID-19

As COVID-19 is still around, please check our dedicated page for the rules and safety measures, recommended by the government at the time of the conference which we will apply during the workshops and conference.

What if NG-BE cannot be held in-person?

In the very unfortunate event that NG-BE is not allowed to happen on-site and in-person, the following actions will be taken:

  • Workshops will be held online. Workshop tickets remain valid to join the workshop online.

  • The conference will be held online. The conference will be made available for everyone worldwide for free. No conference ticket needed. Paid conference tickets for the 2021 edition remain valid for the next edition.

By having these processes in place and complying with regulations, our goal is to make it possible for everyone to feel welcome in a safe, cozy and friendly environment.

If anything is unclear or if you have any questions about COVID-19, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email at info@ng-be.org. We are here to help.

Thank you all for your trust and support—we hope to see you all again in person very soon!
